Has anyone out there ever used a motorcycle appraiser?

 

I have to admit...I didn't know such a thing existed.

Other than Kelley's blue book I haven't heard of one.

I sold my wife's 2003 883C about a year ago.The guy that bought it finananced thru a credit union.The CC wanted the bike appraised.I said no way!
I told them to use the NADA price guide which they did.
The only way I can see using an appraiser is if it was a vintage bike.

 

Nothing they can tell you you can't find out with a search on ebay. And it cost a lot less.

 

appraisers are common for insurance co's on high-end choppers & customs
