The jackets are 'decent', but *NOT* 'good' like a nice H-D or American made leather jacket. The prices are good, but they reflect what you're paying for. The jackets will save your butt from road rash, sure, but it might not be as useable afterward as say, for instance, a jacket from Fox Creek.
Just remember, in this case, you really do get what you pay for. Useable and decent, but not Fox Creek, etc.. (and yes, mine is from Jafrum.com, same stuff exactly as Leatherup.com...my next jacket, when I can afford it, will most definitely be from Fox Creek though)
Thanks for all the good feedback! I just sent a bunch of money leatherups way! I figure why stop at only a jacket when you can get a new helmet, gloves, and boots as well, right?
I am a leather jacket addict and I have a closet full of jackets including a bunch of HD jackets (which I love). But I bought a classic style biker jacket from leatherup and was very impressed with it, it is my daily jacket now. Best deal out there for leather, you will see.
Buy 1 size larger than you need ... at least. They are good about returns, so don't fear taking the chance. I've purchased 3 jackets and probably a dozen other things from them over the years. Only a couple times have I had something that didn't work, and they let you return it without a lot of hassle.
I bought a jacket from them about 2 years ago. It was cheap, but it's warm and held up pretty well. It's not the best jacket in the world, but I think I got my money's ($75) worth.
