S.E.R.T. Technical Question
I own a new tuner, my friend wants to purchase pipes. Can't he just borrow my SERT for the Dyno at the HD dealership instead of puchasing his own?

from my understanding, NO. each SERT is only good for the first bike it is installed on. They end up being VIN specific.

yup, a tuner becomes "married" or VIN-locked to a bike. or else makers cannot/will not make money if one tuner will gets used by dozens of users.
