Default harley v4?

Have you seen the magazine, think it is cycle world showing pictures of a Harley v 4? The old pics I have seen before.I cant imagine why they would do that.I have owned 3 yamaha v 4's and they are good motors, but if Harley wanted a new touring engine why wouldnt they use the Vrod motor?

I wonder if what you're seeing are actually pics of the old Nova project engine. Google "HD Nova" for more info.

No, they are pictures of the old nova project. The magazine says so itself. But they asked Harley representatives to either confirm or deny the rumors and the harley guys said they couldnt or wouldnt do either.I think if Harley want considering it, they would have surely said so.I think buying Augusta might have started this whole thing.I ride a big old fat ultra and I love it.I owned a suzuki bandit and a suzuki 4 cylinder superbike from the 80's one time.I think if you are between 18 and 40 you probably want to ride a sportbike type bike. And for image? It means you could win a race on a track? It means you can go to bike night with 300 other sportbike riders and do stoppies, wheelies at 120 miles an hour, etc. They have their niche.Harley would be wise in my opinion to build a bike that caters to them too.

I must admit that it would be pretty cool if Harley came out with a total ***** to the wall Superbike. Buells are cool, but not quite the same thing. Keep tradition in other aspects, but I see no reason why the engineers at Harley couldn't build a serious race bike.
