Ride every chance I can to work but don't get many these days because of carpooling with wife & sister. It's therapy.
But I have told my boss & co-workers that if I'm ever on the way in and "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin or "Train, Train" by Blackfoot comes on the radio, I'm calling in.
Before I retired last year, I would ride to work whenever possible. Funny thing though, when I rode to work, it was about a 150 mile round trip. When I took the car, it was only about 40 miles. Never did quite understand how that could be, but it invariably did.

I wish I could ride to work!! Best weather here always seems to be during the week. Unfortunatly I need my pick-em-up and my bike will not carry enough stuff. Call me jealous!!!
Thats part of my problem too. I have dress better than jeans and t-shirt for work, need my laptop and other stuff. My neighbor works for me so I put all my stuff in his car this morning including a change of clothes. I took the long way to work also.
When you get your rain gear get the best pair because you will use it alot. Or you will be a poser telling people it's going to rain this week (I can't ride in the rain) and never ride just poser as a biker. I myself work in the office have to wear office clothes but I still can ride a motorcycle with those clothes with a cover all or rain gear. Get a life and ride before you get to old to get off that porch.
I have the same problem! The guys I work with are the same ones I ride with on the weekends and we have been known to have "belly aches" on the way to work! Nothing like calling off of work on a nice summer day and just riding right past work!
