I don't particularly follow all of the history of the patches and/or colors but i think it is important to know the basics in case you find yourself in a situation or at an event where it might come in handy

True that and thats what old guy was trying to say. If you're gonna ride a motorcycle and be around and about attending rallies and functions and being inadvertantly around those guys its to your advantage to be informed. Of course it is your right to catch an **** whooping too. Both are viable options. Your choice your call. Contrary to what one misguided poster posted, Old guy isn't a key board commando, his advice sage. You hard headed arseholes want to do it your way, go for it. God speed. Don't let anything obstruct you on your way down and when you hit the floor.
No reason for me to avoid anyone. I've spent plenty of time around Roadrunners and Outlaws, and they don't have issue with me in the least. They get the same respect I'd give anyone, and that's plenty enough for them. Seems some board hero's here have issue with it though.
But someone calling people naive for not chasing the same info he gets off on is lame and weak, so I offered an alternate viewpoint. Obviously he just wanted to rip on people and not be called on it... Around here that's called being a puzzy.
I know youdo not disrespect the Brother's you say you know.......with the **** you said here on this forum. Maybe you are being disrespectful because you don't think real live patch holder's are on here.....better think again, there are a lot of current and x club member's here,of many different MC's. Some (like myself) advertize it,some don't,however I believe I speak for several of them when I say, around here, you need to STFU. Calling a 1%er a ***** isn't making you any friends.

+1
And let me add ictinike that when you read a post keep in mind that alot gets lost between an in person conversation and actually talking to the person. Don't read more into it. Try to assess a plus minus of a benefit of the doubt to the poster. If for no other reason then to prevent making yourself look less in a positive light, as done here with your puzzy post.
It hurts less trying to benefit from others mistakes and experience. It could save you from a good old fashion steel toed boot stomp, eh. You might not be as lucky as the LEO that was able to shoot his way out of the situation and be vindicated too. You are not an LEO you do not have perks like that.

so are you the authority around here? what...noone can exchange ideas without checking with ya? this whole thread has gotten way too much exposure and way too much puffing up. live and let live....move on.
Ummmmm....you guys aren't going to win him over. The more you try to explain it to him....yeah. don't bother.
the point's been made on this thread. those who will get it, will. those who won't, won't.
and a lot of guys in the middle who will be happy to raise a beer should we meet in a roadhouse somewhere (and if you're ever in Montana, I'll steer you toward the best roadhouses, and buy the first for anyone from HDF.com)
really it doesn't matter, they may be naive but, they are not necessarily stupid. 1% show up to an event they are at.. you can bet your a$$ they will high tail it out of there.
They have heard it and probably seen it too.
On one hand part of me thinks it's a shame that we have a society that you would even have to worry about stuff like this.
On the other I a realist, and have at one time been into that lifestyle. You leave them alone , they leave you alone.. Very old saying and every one knows it..
Don't start no **** , Won't be no ****
anymore even if I won a fight ... I'd still lose. so I say F all that stuff and let ride, party and have a good time.

Lawdy lawdy, see....we cant just be simple and get our points across Nomad X, thats our problem....we try to be nice and explain things in a polite respectful way and some oen always ends up sticking their foot in their mouth shortly after they've pulled it outa their a$$. You hit it on the head as I think we all have.....we aint gotta forgive em bud, but we aint gotta put up with em either....i forgot who it was that reminded us of the ignore option on here but those are the ones i choose to ignore. I so F&%$%&# can't wait for this damn surgery to be healed so I can beat it on down the road again. man these forums are addictive as hell when ya cant lift a case of beer off the shelf....damn hernia surgery sucks. I'll let you keep fightin the fight bud my patience level aint like yours, I'll be out of a puter if I keep readin thsi thread lol.
nomad just ignore em...f%$# em all....this is why I dont even wave to most riders now days unless their in a large pack and aint no weekend warriors in that pack....too many kooks on the road kicken up dust for me to have to wash their ignorance off o' my leathers. Just my .02

True, that. We shouldn't try to convince anyone. Some will learn from life, some won't, regardless how many teeth they will spit on the floor.
Just lay back and watch them... Even if they aren't good for anything else, atleast they are entertaining, aren't they?
