Leather shrinkage
Weather has warmed up and I dug out my summer riding leather jacket. For some reason the leather has shrunk, and the thing doesn't fit like it used to. Sleeves are still the same length, but...
Any suggestions on how to stretch it back to proper size?

Lose that Christmas weight! You might try putting a crap load of conditioner on it such as mink oil (not saddle soap) and then wearing it and stretching it over your back ala Tommy Boy doing his "Fat guy in a little coat" routine.

the weight is slowly going away 
seriously, I'm wondering if it did shrink some. I have been using HD leather conditioner for the past few years on it. but this year it fits very strange.
I'll try the mink oil and tommy boy stretch.

Seriously, did you store it in an excessively cool & dry place? Look at what that did for those mummies up in the high Andes.
Warmth, humidity, and then your mink oil, etc.
Worth a shot.

My wet suit used to do that too. Can't close the door on those danged closets...LOL!

hey guys, my stuff stayed the same size for years, then for some reason about 4 years ago everything I owned just shrank the heck up on me. I did quit smoking about that time, hmmm, maybe cigarettes kept the stuff from shrinking. I looked like a poser with all my new gear. hope yours gets to fittin' better.
