I took rider's Edge in Oct 04. I already had a class AM DL, but I figured I could learn something from the class. I learned more that I ever expected. It was informative and fun. I am waiting on a experience rider course now.
I highly recommend it. I think I got the lowest (passing) score in my class. I didn't ride for years. But I kept on practicing evan after the class. I get better and better. The class teaches technique and manuvers. Safety safety safety. Highly recommended.
I took the course last weekend to get my military base decal. It also help me break some old habits. We also rode in the rain in our last day with a few people bike's being dropped but it didn't bother these newbies one bit and no one was injured and riding these 250 with the pegs right under you was a bit wierd but they were fun.
Wife is taking the course in June. I will have her out on my Ultra before that time to teach her the bascs of shiftng gears ect.. I'll probably put the bike on the jack, and sit her on it to show and allow her some pratice, as she is too short to ride this bike.
When she comes home from her last day of class, her new Softail deluxe in pearl black will be sitting in the driveway, as her surprise graduation gift.
BRC is awsome I am taking the ERC (Experianced Riders Course) next month, been practicing the test from Ride Like a Pro but looking forward to getting some new data from ERC.
