The discs on my 05 Fatboy just don't seem to shine like the rest of the chrome on the bike. What up with this? Is there a special cleaner or what?....... Joe
As stated above the stock wheels are aluminum. They will never shine like chrome, but get some good polish and polish them up. Or better yet, get some chrome ones.

I have these on my 05 fatboy. Hard to keep clean. Everyone is constantly touching them because the mirror finish seems to float the wheels. one thousand per wheel though from HD. Very expensive. Order through Chicago harley online and get a 20% off all purchases
I do know that this is the last bike I'll own with solid wheels. It seems that the crosswinds are more noticable with them. My bikes in the past had spoke wheels.
