You all keep this up and I swear I am going to find one of those waving hands at the flea market and stick it on the inside of my windshield!
Function over fashion anytime. Had to mount a sissy bar yesterday, wife won't ride without. But a quick detach, so it's not that bothering. Next is a danny gray seat. Blinker relocation is the only "fashion" thing planed.
I really don't consider anything which is truly functional to be "tricking out" my bike. First priority should always be to comfort items - seat, backrest, handlebars, grips - or you won't be able to ride it enough to show off your bling items.
I'd have to say 99.9% function. I've always been a practical bastard anyway. For the 'function' on my scoot...fork bag for tools, throw-over saddlebags for trips and even small grocery trips, tall sissy bar to strap sleeping bag and tent to for trips and for newbie women passengers (it gives them a little more security). I'd like the Sundowner solo seat too, but can't afford it for quite a while.
The .1% fashion...give the scoot a bath and wax once in a while!
