Default cutting dimples into bars...

got some cool bars online & didnt realize they arent dimpled and cant do internal wiring cause the angle is to extreme(rocks chops "lanesplitters" on ebay, really cool bars)i was simlpy gonna drill out/cut my own dimples in them but now starting to think that might be a bad idea. this will obviously weaken the integrity of the bars but will it be enough for me to worry about? i plan on keeping the cuts as small and narrow as possible but...please help

Maybe that's why they weren't dimpled in the first place, strength issue. One of the probs of buying off ebay, can't always send back.
My bad, you didn't say you got from ebay.
