Personally, no it isn't worth it. I don't have to ride in situations where the threat to me from other drivers is highly elevated so I don't. Sure, lots of other things can happen, but other cars is the real risk.

Interesting the number of opinions that state, "when it's your time you go, no matter what you're doing." That philosophy is what got me through combat, and I continue to believe in pre-ordained destiny. Our time is up and determined the day we are born, so, in the mean time, do those things you enjoy. For me, ridin' is in my blood and ain't no way some dumbass, actin' an *** in a cage is gonna make me give it up! I been in a bad wreck, (car turned left in front of me and I t-boned it), got enough metal in me bones to sometimes set of the metal detectors at the airports, but I realized, even while still in the hospital, that a: the wreck wasn't my fault, b: I'm still here, and c: Fug it, IT's TIME TO RIDE!!!!!!
