warranty question

warranty question

I'd like to change my own fluids, etc on my bike. If i do so and something goes wrong with my bike will HD honor my factory warranty? I know with cars/trucks dealers will honor your warranty if you do your own general maintenance. I'm asking because $265 is a ton of money for just an oil change and a visual inspection!

Change oil with the book for your bike. Save were you paid for the oil and filter. Maybe make a log book on your bike.

With the money you save buy the repair manual for your model bike. Dealership is way overpriced, they do lousy work and it takes them forever whether it's to make an appointment or actually fix the bike. What I can't fix myself, I use an indy. Half the price of the dealership, great work, finished on time.
