I carry a clean wet chamois dampened in Rain X in a ziplock.

I think I read somewhere that rain x is bad news on the bike windshields. Think it says so on the bottle.

Armor All makes a glass wipe that is real good. Got some in a ziplock in the saddle bag. Just don't leave the top of the can open. They will dry out.

lol I tried the lemon pledge the other evening; had ridden earlier & wanted to get rid of the bugs, before I went out for that last ride at nite... Bees.. holy Crap do the bees like pledge!!! & I HATE bees! Couldn't get near the bike for about 1/2 an hour, til the scent went away... Next time, I'm gonna clean the bike Indoors!

So.. will ANY pledge work, or it Lemon the weapon of choice?

Katie: Lemon Pledge is much better than the standard Pledge. I assume it is because of the chemical additive that gives it the "Lemon" smell. I know from my years of flying small airplanes that nothing will make rain water stream off the windshield of the airplane any better than Lemon Pledge. Most small airplane windows are made of the same plexiglas as your motorcycle windshield.

I also use Lemon Pledge on the paint work of my bikes. Cleans and protects with minimum effort. ................ BC
