Saw a bunch of bikes at the local HD dealer today that were being recalled because the sticker on the front of the frame lists the tire pressure in the front should be "30lbs", not 36. Was on the 05 softails from what I saw. Guess they'll be sendin' out some new stickers.

My owners manual for my FXDI calls for 30lbs. in the front. Does it make 6lbs.. of difference because of the bike? I'm curious now, since although my owners manual calls for 30 and 36 in the rear, my dealer said they always go 40 on both. What does everybody else's manual or tires call for and are you running higher or lower for any particular reason? TIA, Art
