He's right in saying that they run hot. Don't kid yourselves......they do. I spent a lot to get mine cooler: true duals, oil cooler, PCIIIusb. And the newer models are worse.....HD sees the issue, otherwise they wouldn't have routed the exhaust under the frame this year, or sell heat deflectors. How about the rear cylinder cut-off? All band-aid "improvements" until liquid cooling.
Flame away, but those are the facts.

I'm an import rider, and I still post here. I belong to honda, zuki, yami and kaw forums also. We're all riders. I've never ridden an Ultra, but have heard they're one of the more comfortable bikes in the hd lineup. I rented a 2005 heritage when I was in Vegas a few years ago, and thought it was very comfortable. Though, I learned from that experience that I don't like full foot boards and couldn't get use to the heal/toe shifter. I would have to believe that an ultra would surpass the comfort of a heritage. So he doesn't like the ultra, and it's a forum, so yes, you can post any complaint you want to, but it sounds more like a childish tantrum to me

Geez, if I gave up an Ultra I think it'd be for a GW but that's just me.

Have a buddy with an Ultra. He's owned a GW, Venture, BMW and others. He likes his Ultra but for pure touring comfort, he said the GW was the best.

Hope you enjoy your new Yamihaha.

You got a giant fairing on the front!

No wonder you feel hot!
You fairing guys whine about wind buffeting and then whine about the heat.

I rode my friends rocket III which is water cooled . He had a big shield on it.
The thing cooked me. My RK has a windshield and that's it. I get good air flow and minimal engine heat. You want to stay nice and cool, stay in your friggin air conditioned car.

Be chore to lock the bathroom door, I HATE watchin' a grown boy squat to pee.
