You can't go wrong with Fox Creek Leather, great quality, great customer service and MADE IN THE U.S.A. As for helmets definitely go somewhere that has a good selection so you can try on different ones to see which one you like and what feels best for you.

For helmets and other gear, try, Competition Accessories or Motorcycle Superstore. I have a 3/4 Harley helmet that is made by HJC that I have been happy with, also a FF Shoei that fits a little tight around the cheeks. The fit of any helmet has a lot to do with your head shape. Try helmets that match yours.

+1 on the fulmer helmets. My wife and I have 3/4 with flip up shields, $83, plus I have a fulmer half for around town driving.

Helmetcity.com. I've bought 2 Shoei helmets from them and they were the best price by the time you factor shipping. Make sure you buy all your extras like shields at the same time to save on shipping.
