Leaving Frisco, TX at 0600hrs Saturday, Aug 1. Staying in Alma, NB on Saturday night and then on to Rapid City. We are staying at the University (School of mines). Two ultra-classics, Father and Son, can you spell ROAD TRIP??

Leaving on the 29th or 30th from NW Louisiana. Going up through AR, MO, cutting west at Nebraska City on Hwy 2 until I hit 385 South of the Black Hills and then into Sturgis. Staying at Elk View Campgrounds until the Rally is over. I have no time constraints so will just mosey up into Indian country to see what I can see.

Just curious, to those who have been to Sturgis, are there many lone riders going solo? I am planing to go next year just for the experience, but I am not sure if I will hook up with others to ride across the country.
