Nope. Not the first year for the motor. It's been the base motor for Police equipped bikes, base motor for prior years Screaming Eagle bikes and also offered as an upgrade to both the TC 88 and TC 96 motors. Been around a long time.
PS: I like this site for all kinds of unit conversions: http://www.onlineconversion.com/ which also comes up with "103 cubic inches = 1687.867592 cubic centimeters" which makes me wonder what accounts for the slight difference in what I got above?
