Biker down, and getting up
their free (pay shipping) make them fit!
Stock Hardlebars + riser.........
God Bless you.
I am very thankful person. I am extremely active, and my time, just like everyone elses, is at a premium. My family is healthy and we do not take it for granted. Some of the things I enjoy, like bicycling and tennis would be extremely difficult with leg problems. So I have often thought of being in a physical condition that would not allow me to do the things I really enjoy.
So now, this guy Bill has come into my life, for some reason. I will not put myself or my family out by helping him, but I will help in any way I can.
I could spend my time or money on my bike, but hey, I got a bike, and making it purty is not gonna make the memories and experiences any better.

i do powdercoating on the side. just to make a little extra cash. i would be happy to throw powder on any parts he might need to match his train. i'll provide the powder and labor. just pay for shipping both ways.
there are also some website devoted to disabled riders. you can find ideas about how to configure the controls and be inspired by the people who have had the ***** to get back on. here are a couple...

So, my wife and I and at least 3 of my riding buddies will be making a pit stop at the home and hang out with Bill for a few.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
It will be cool to see the day that I can post pics of his re-build and then on a ride.
I guess it is clear now why he lost his leg. Besides the front end being smashed to hell, the rest of the bike is not too bad.
He will need rear turn signals. The ones that are on it are on 2 or 3 inch posts. Again, I'm not real familiar with nighttrain parts, but they looked stock and pretty standard as far as turns go.
Also, he will need clutch and front brake levers.
From examining the damage to the bike, it is pretty obvious that he slid out and the bike teeter-tottered on top of him until he hit the vehicle. That would explain the limited damage to the rest of the bike other than the front end.
If anyone has anything they can put aside for him, it would be much appreciated. Don't feel compelled to give anything away, we just appreciate a fair price on anything we can find.
Thanks again guys/ladies.
