Yep! They do their jobs 99.9% of the time and a few I know will help ya out inna heart beat! They can't be everywhere all the time!

I had an old lady cut me off in the middle of my left turn at a 4-way stop sign intersection. There was an officer right there who saw it and tore out after her. I saw him pull her over so I looped back around the block and yelled "thanks!" to him as I went by and he gave me a smile and a nod as he looked up from his cite book...
