No it is different then just the mesh jacket. I bought one at Ray Price in Raleigh, Shelton's in Durham did not have them. It really is like three jackets in one. I have been wearing only the mesh and stay reasonable cool when there is a breeze even in the sweltering NC heat we have been experiencing.
You can go to any H-D dealer motorclothes department, and ask what dealer has the jacket you're looking for, and they will give you a print out of the dealers showing that jacket in their inventory. Then you can call the dealer and ask if they still have it, and then have it shipped to your front door.

I was in Clayton County H-D in Atlanta this weekend doing some demo rides and they had 6 in stock. Sales girl says if they run out they can call other dealers and get them. Call them at (770) 960-6000. Web site: http://www.h-dofclaytonco.com
I just picked up a Switchback from Ray Price. they had three in stock. L, XL, and XXL. I got the XL (yes I am a phat @$$). It really is a nice jacket. A little on the heavy side with everything zipped up. I swear to God this thing has more parts to it than the fatboy!
