I have the older one and while it's not the best jacket you can buy I think it's very good, especially for what I paid. Believe it or not the dealership I bought it from was clearing them out and got something like 30% off. The motor-clothes gal said they don't sell so they were clearing them out.

Remember to check with Chicago Harley-Davidson or Zanotti's and get 20% off if you do go with the FXRG.

I agree. I have owned many mc jackets and this one def. ain't all that great. No real protection. IMHO Vanson leathers are far surperior and not made in China.

I've had one since '05. I like it, but sometimes think its TOO damn heavy. Although, I do believe it is very well made for a Harley jacket.

The only reason I got it, is because they gave me a great "package deal" at the dealership when I bought my Sportster.
