Does anybody have any suggestions for motorcycle/vehicle maintenance log software? Between the bikes, four wheelers, and trucks,it is getting harder to remember oil changes and all of that good stuff. Thanks..
I dont know. I saw one called "for two weels only." It could probably work for ya.
If your running Outlook there is a appointment program in it.
There are Xcel files for maintenenace.
This is the one I use. I have been using it for several years so it was cheaper when I started using it. I like it, it does what I need for it to do. http://mtcpro.com/index.htm http://mtcpro.com/automtc.htm (This is the personal edition, the one I have)
It should be an easy task using Excel. There isn't all that much to log....copy intervals, mileage column and a big area for remarks like what kind of oil...condition of what you saw/did.
Excel is pretty easy to do basic stuff on without prior knowledge and if you are intimidated then chances are you know someone ( like my wife ) that uses it routinely and could put one together in less than 10 minutes. In fact if a few of you guys would like to input ideas I'll run it by her and figure out a way...probably via email attachment to get it to those truly interested.
That would be a brown nose deal for me to make up for some of the posts where I come off as jerk. Anyway if you want I'll watch this thread for a few days and if there are good ideas I'll have her read and make one up. She rides a 1200C if that matters.
I have a white board hanging in the garage. I listed all our vehicles (three cars, three bikes)on it with the dates of the last service, what kind and how much fluid each one takes, etc, etc.. Then in each respective owners manual, log the service individually in it.
