Had a yellow jacket hit my glasses right on the bridge of my nose. Didn't kill him. I'm doing about 60 and I can see him crawling around on the glasses frame. Managed to get stopped and get him off without getting stung. Can't say the same about the bumblebee that went up my sleeve !!!!!

One week after getting my Bike back in July a yellow jacket went down my shirt and stung me just below the belly button. No big deal.... I've been stung dozens of times in my life.....but a week later the damn thing was infected and I had to gobble antibiotics for a week.

Yeah,,, but, did ya kill the little bastard? I had a bee go up my pant leg and sting the crap outta my thigh. I swatted and smashed him & he finally stopped moving. When I got home I pulled off my jeans and out he drops and proceeds to crawl away. He didn't get far.

Oh...don't get me started. One little bastard jabbed my a few times in the temple. Got stuck under my strap and I looked like I was having a spaz while I pulled over. The couple across the street working in their garden got a good laugh at me cussing up a storm.

Just this past weekend I had another one come right into my face and pull up at the last moment and get stuck in my hair just above my goggles. I could see him wiggling around trying to get out so I gentle moved my head to the side and the wind caught him sending him on his way. Whew.

Got stung twice by the same creature Saturday.

It got in my shirt and stung me on the upper left chest. I got pulled over and as I opened my shirt up a couple of buttons it flew out and off for further adventure, which is just what the wife and I did after it left.

I still have two pretty good size welts that are starting to itch but don't hurt anymore.

Wife and I were riding last summer up north in Fairbanks. As I was pulling up to a stoplight a bee had flown up the sleeve of my right arm of my jacket. It then began stinging the $hit out of me. I started swinging my arm up and down in an attempt to get it to slide back out the sleeve when my wife yelled over the intercom "WTF YOU DOING....JUST USE YOUR TURNSIGNAL"

A stinging insect hit my forearm one time while riding. I pulled over to the side of the road and stopped. I had a blue jean jacket and a long sleeve denem shirt on. I took them both off and found the stinger stuck in my forearm. OUCH.

Yup. three times over the years...once in the side of my face, a wasp stuck under the helmet strap. That one I dumped the bike; got slowed down a lot after the first sting, was trying to get off the road when he stung me again. One other time between the eyes; I think he bounced of the glasses. The worst one was on a long ride, about 8 hours in. I was tired, starting to yawn a lot...mouth wide open in a yawn and in he went, stung me on the inside of my cheek. That Sonofab**ch HURT!!

I am gonna stop reading these threads. Loretta and I went riding all afternoon , a couple of pretty good flying insects buzzed by us but nothing ever happened. The problem is after reading these "I got stung" threads on here. I keep thinking I am gonna get stung while riding down the country two lane. All these years of riding and never gave it a thought.. Start reading stuff on here and start thinking about all this stuff..

I think I am gonna sell my computer next week .
