My wife and I are throughly enjoying my mid-life crisis.
With respect to your daughter I hope she comes to see your situation differently so she can join her future (?) partner in enjoying his mid-life crisis too.

I don't understand...Care to explain what mid-life crisis is all about ?. Is it good or bad ?.

The hell with it...Big Boy Toy Garage is the only thing I understand. 36' X 42' filled with toys which gets my lips grinning from ear to ear.

That whole "midlife crisis" thing is something that women use to try and make us guys feel stupid and not spend money on ourselves in the hope they instead can spend the money on themselves.

Years ago I was whining to an older co-worker about not having two nickles to rub together, bills, small babies, couldn't afford to go anywhere, etc. He told me that you don't even start living until you are 40. I found out he was right. After all those years of eating my own garbage, wearing yard sale clothes, and driving cars with 200,000 miles on them it's a really nice feeling to finally be able to live a little.

I wouldn't call it a crisis either. More like a reward.
