I know the economy is bad. But that bad? How do you think are his chances to get a ride?

Smart move. My friend just picked up a 2001 Dyna that was laid over - minor damaged to tank, turn signals, and primary cover - for $%k cash. The bike only has 2800, yes that is right, miles on it. You never know what is our there and who might be willing to sell.

The guy has nothing to lose and he just might get a hit on his offer. It may not be exactly what he is looking for but it could still be a real good deal on something close. How many people miss great opportunities because they assume Well that may not work, so I am not even going to try.
