Show us a pic and if possible a close up of the VIN. Someone here might know. What year did you think it was before you bought it and how much did you pay?

Damn some of you guys are hard on a newbie.

The way I read this post is, he picked up a bike, he knows the year but he's wondering if some knowledgable forum member would be so kind as to inform him which letter or number in his seven digit vin verifies the year.

Way to go for making him feel so comfortable with his first post...
