****** WENT DOWN TODAY-He Will Be OK
Just got this pm. Scared the hell out of me before I could read the whole thing.
Just got back from a ride with/without ******. Before you panic he is OK. I left him at the Hospital in Linville NC near the Blue Ridge Parkway. He got in touch with his wife and she is on her way to get him. Still having some checks made by Drs. So far just sore ribs and shoulder but unable to ride the bike home. I will return tomorrow to retrive his scoot.
He went into a decreasing radius turn at what should have been a reasonable speed. He low sided when the front tire lost traction and came out from under him. He hit face first but had a full face helmet on. Took one roll before stopping and the bike never hit the guardrail which tells us and the patrolman that his speed was not excessive.
He asked me to pm you and tell you to repost on the board if you see fit.
Damn and I just met him this morning.
