Holy fricking hell, FLHTCU vs Deer
I saw this on one of the forums following the Iron Butt Rally, the lone HD this year is out due to deer strike. Amazingly, the dude walked away from a 65mph get-off after nailing a mule doe... Story is at:

Guy was lucky I guess ... but I don't want any of that luck, thanks.
Deer are thicker than ever around here it seems , wouldn't think so by all the subdivisions
but there's enough cover left and they adapt.
Mamma's pissed that they brazenly munch away at her prairie garden .... come to think of
it they are real fond of the leaves off of one of the apple trees I planted this year.
And why the golden delicious tree is beyond me , If I had to eat apple leaves that wouldn't
be my first choice.
I'm not super fond of venison but I'm thinkin I could adapt !
Best to go slow in deer country and keep your eyes peeled.
I ran interference for a biker a couple weeks back ( I'm in the truck) , he was a bit behind
me and a rice cage was in the rocking chair.
There was bambi right on the edge of the road up ahead, at dusk.
I flickered the taillights like a M. F er and the biker caught on quick and backed way off.
The rice cager would have none of the foolishness and proceded to show me how fast he
could pass and stand one his brakes in quick succession , as about this time bambi decides
to dart across the road.
I'd give him a 9 out of a possible 10 as near misses go ... I figure he prolly crapped his
pants and ya gotta take a point off if ya suspect it.
I wasn't gonna stop and ask .
Besides I was practically in tears laughing my **** off and I'm sure the biker was too.
