I was pulled over by the Harley Davidson Style Police the other day for having an oversize luggage bag.
That cost me 5 demerits.
I've never seen one of these Hecktasche Traveller bags installed on a bike, but it looks like a left over body bag from the Vietnam War. The Harley Davidson Style Police would not only issue you demerits, but they would force you to trade in your bike on an Ultra Classic.
Or worse yet, a Honda Gold Wing.

The Hecktasche Traveller bag looks great for long road trips. Unlike a T-Bag, it keeps the bike's center of gravity low. When you're knocking down 500-mile days, function trumps form. Style points are out the window.

I'm on my first roadtrip, abot 1200 miles round trip.
I bought throw over saddle bags and I use a cargo net on top of the saddle bags for extra storage.
That bag you linked was over the top, but probably useful.
