I don't believe in most security features as I feel they are waste of money. If somebody want's to steal your stuff and you don't catch them in the act then it is gone anyway and I have good insurance so I am not going to worry about it (This is evident in most of my posts). But to make a long story short I lost a bet with a buddy and my payment was to try a security system (any one of my choosing) and give a review good or bad. There is a long story behind why this bet made sense.
Anyway I decided to try the Brukus Saddlebag secure, first and most important because I am cheap and it was reasonably priced. Second, it didn't seem like there would be any hassle to install it. Third, it wouldn't change the characteristics of my bike and didn't mess with my electrical system. Well I can say it was a breeze to install and works like advertised. That is about as gushy as I get about any security system.
However, the reason for this post is not about the Security system but about the company. I had a few issues with the on-line ordering and with placing the phone order and I have to say the staff at Brukus is excellent. They were polite, easy to work with and extremely helpful! I also appreciate the fact they would like to know when you receive the product (whether they care or not it is a great sentiment) and send email updates concerning events. I give the staff at this company an A+ and while I likely won't purchase to many more security items if I ever do I will check here first. It was a wonderful experience working with Brukus and their product is pretty solid also!
P.S. this is not a shameless self promotion as I have no monetary investment in Brukus nor have I ever met the folks in person!
I agree i dont buy much in the way of security stuff but the brukus saddle bag secure is simple low cost effective product that works..i was more worried about the factory clips coming loose when riding.with the brukus sercure i dont have to worry bout that.the kickstand peice it also simple and effective item too, thumbs up for brukus and staff for the great productsand service
You mean to tell me yall paid 25 dollars plus shipping for 3 bucks worth of bolts from the hardware store? I need to get some of what ever yall are smoking, it must be good!
Id say its a lil more then three bucks worth of bolts, high quality hardware is not cheep, its the bolts, speed clips and allen key,if u had to replace the stock hardware it would be more the 3 bucks..hmm u must have a discount hdw store in your area with cheep stuff
I've dealt with Brukus , GREAT PEOPLE and they treat you fair , sure you can make up a system from your hardware store but Brukus has multiple products and they all work similarly which makes it easy , I have the saddle bag secure , fender secure and solo seat secure , could someone get them if they are determined enough , sure , but this will slow them down and set off my alarm which usually means they will move along to an easier target

Those who stand behind the counter of a hardware store may not buy Brukus kits. Their saddlebag secure stuff saved me time and worry but on the other hand the dealer who sold this new bike only issued one bill under my name, not more. It's pleasant to recognize others are clever in their own domain.
