For those that use the saddlebag kit, how quickly can you get your bags off? I tend to take mine off whenever I wash the bike so I can get to the rear rim for cleaning and tire pressure inspection/adjustment. Yes, I realize it's just like using a regular allen key, but when putting the bags back on, do you find that the left side especially is tough to work with (since it leans away from the bike)?

As much as I'd like to think I could do the same mod for $5 at the hardware store, I will be ordering these. To me the fact it's all designed to work together is totally worth it to me.

Just as quick as the oem pins, just keep the key handy. I keep a spare in a toolbag.

That's all the information I needed when I ordered mine

Bruckus had a contest on the forum and I won a free set and was very impressed with the product. They go on and come off easily!

I just had a new rear tire put on and the service guy needed the key to get them off. Afterward he asked where I got them and said he'd be buying a set for himself.

I agree also - no offense to Brukus - he offers products for those that are willing to pay and they're good products too (first cabin stainless button head torx).
I'm just a do-it-yourself type.
BTW, $3 isn't too far off - easily $5 at any hardware store in the US. Remember only two are really necessary (one on each side) and stainless isn't a requirement.
