Looks sharp Mac, love that chrome front end, each thing you do to the bike makes it more your own reflection of what you think is the look of your dreams. Of course Skip would never understand that statement, because he keeps a can of flat black spray paint in his hand, and he knows I love chrome.

Enjoy and keep adding the chrome. Sorry Skip!

Looks awesome Mac, good job.

I am gonna help a friend do his EG soon, did you run into any trouble?
No real problems. Make sure you have a torque wrench and a manual. I didn't have the right set of tools to do the disassembly, with the spring, etc., so I pulled the forks and ran them down to the HD shop. Took the kid an hour to do it, but I watched and chatted. I made the right decision. I had called ahead and asked if they had the tools so that I could buy them, they didn't so I elected to just pay the $80 and have them do it.

I mentioned that I bought a few chrome extras...I got those when I went to the shop and another guy was standing there with his front end all chromed out. He pointed out the various other "things" that don't come with the forks themselves that need to be done in order to "finish" the job. I listed them above...you might want to give your buddy a little warning!
