Default ready for heated gear !?
Looking to buy a heated jacket liner and gloves, did a search, but did not see a comparison of :

warm & safe heated clothing
or
gerbing heated clothing

So has anyone had both , if so, which brand and why...

Not both but just Gerbing. Great stuff, no problems and seems to have a great track record. They got my vote.
