good luck with that. don't forget to post the "i layed down my bike today" thread in the future.
Are you serious? That's like saying apes and spoke wheels will put you down. Of course anyone that thinks riding motorcycles is safe needs to have a 'come to Jesus' moment.

yes i am bob. a car tire on a motorcycle? think about it bob.
oh, i meant to ask this: did you put a car tire on the front too? if not, why not? if you put a car tire on the rear for longer life, why would you not want the same life out of your front tire?
OK, but but how does that relate to you reprimanding someone about what they do with their bike?
Relax man. It really doesn't matter to any of us what someone on here does with their bike. Look at the pics of some of these machines. People have spent a lot more money than the cost of a tire screwing them up.
And in the larger perspective. Anyone on here that drinks and rides (me included) is creating a much greater risk to themselves and their bike than a car tire on a bike. Wouldn't you agree?

That's a valid question. The front tire wears out symmetrically on the sides and the middle. The rear tire generally wears out the middle with lot of wear on the sides leftover.
Just like on the front of a car where the tire cantors over onto the edge of the tire it does the same on a bike. Car tires aren't good on the front but it can be done. Also; most rims are much narrower on the front so there's no CT for it anyway.
I wouldn't put a CT on a sport bike because of the speeds they push those bikes to in the corners but on a cruiser it's no big deal.

you're telling me to relax? you're the one that jumped in with :"He can damn well do whatever he wants to the bike and you don't have a f-n say in it unless you are his dad or wife." it sounds like you need to relax.
