Default Will it need a re'map

Im considering fitting some Vance & Hinds stubby pipes to my Nightster, will it need a re'map or will it be ok.....Daz

If your only doing pipes it should be fine.

All stock bikes are too lean from the factory. If you change intake or exhaust ---you change mixture. The new bikes can compensate to a point. Check your plugs with the bike cold. They will give you some information. Anti-seize them and torque to book specs when you reinstall. If the bike runs or the plugs look lean--remap or tune. I would consider a tuner because it is just a matter of time before you do something else.

You should read up on running lean and hot.....I put V&H Bigshots on mine and then had it on the DYNO.....dropped the gas mileage a bit......but who cares....bike runs cooler and better.....riding two up in the mountains was easy money.....it runs great...

...should have added they are 49 state legal since they don't meet California EPA standards.....don't care about that either.....
