All stock bikes are too lean from the factory. If you change intake or exhaust ---you change mixture. The new bikes can compensate to a point. Check your plugs with the bike cold. They will give you some information. Anti-seize them and torque to book specs when you reinstall. If the bike runs or the plugs look lean--remap or tune. I would consider a tuner because it is just a matter of time before you do something else.
You should read up on running lean and hot.....I put V&H Bigshots on mine and then had it on the DYNO.....dropped the gas mileage a bit......but who cares....bike runs cooler and better.....riding two up in the mountains was easy money.....it runs great...
