Daytona Beach is always fun to visit, it's kind of nice to ride around Beach Ave, Main St., A1A without the crowds and traffic. Destination Daytona is Disney for Bikers.
Heck yea! But then again I live here (Ormond Bch). Just depends on when you come and what your into. It is a typical beach town with great year-round bike stuff and a beach. Every weekend there is some type of bike related activity. So many biker bars that there is not much of a bike night deal like in Tampa so most the big happenings are on the weekends. Black Sunday the black bike only show was Sunday last weekend was the Chruch of Chop show, Old school biker party at the end of the month, poker runs every weekend........riding is not like Deal Gap or anything but still pretty. The loop up in Tomoka State park is super nice. You can have lunch/dinnner on the beach or at the marina - tourists love to eat on the water don't they? Destination Daytona is the biggest HD dealer in the world and has a big biker village.
Kind of like Vegas - give it 2-3 days.
The sunrise/sun sets are ok as well. PM me if you need some specific info.
Yes. During the off season, bars on main street often have free bar-b-que on Sunday afternoon. Just ride into town, grab a beer and have a bite to eat.
All the same places are open, but no crowds. It gives you time and space to really go through the shops.
If you are into non-stop partying and crowds you will be diappointed though. That is really just during the 2 bike weeks.
Been going to Daytona for 35+ years haven't missed a Daytona 500 for 30 of those years. Should have bought a house their years ago, oh well the motels still love me.
As others have said the area is well worth visiting. Orlando is only 30 min away if anything there interests you. St Augustine is not far away and has lots of neat stuff.
Come on in the water's fine!

the nice thing about daytona is that its a biker friendly town, your welcome everywhere. The local merchants know how important your $ is to them and they bend over backwards to be friendly.Im about an hour away and go there frequently.PM me if ya want directions for riding the loop including miles of ocean front riding.
We love the area and try to get down there 3-4 times each year. This year we were there for Bike Week, the Coke Zero 400 and will be heading down there next month for Biketoberfest. Last year, we went down on a couple of long weekends that did not have any events and had a blast.
