Bought my bike at a Chillicothe OH, but I buy most of my parts at a Eastgate, OH. I buy at Eastgate because I'm always in that area and I never go in the direction of Chillicothe. My battery died so I took it out and took it to Eastgate (bike was still under warranty). Took it up to the desk and the first question I was asked was if I bought the bike there. I told the man I did not. I saw it on him. His demeanor toward me changed immediately. He proceeded to get my new battery and charge me for it. I asked if it was under warranty and he said it wasn't. Out of the blue this young salesman walks up and says it is in fact a warranty issue and I that I get another one for free. He said not, and the young man said so. Finally the young man went and got a lady from the office. She came out, asked me what year the bike was; said that it was under warranty and that I get a new. The man behind the counter proceeded to inform her that I did not buy the bike there, so it was not under warranty. If looks could kill he would have fell over dead. She said that didn't matter, apologized to me and I got a new battery. If it wasn't for the young man intervening I would have walked out with $145 less in my pocket.
I agree, Oakdales owner is a nice guy....Parts and service guys are good.....Miracle Mile is good too....Lenny from Miracle Mile offered me free pick up and delivery when I bought my Ultra from him on any type of work. He also made it a point that he would pick up my other two even though they came from other dealers. Never took him up on the offer since I do the work myself. Not a fan of Light House HD ever since Rubins got the axe.
