Default i still need help!

thank you everyone for all the help, but im still lost. i found a blue tag riveted on the right downtube with six numbers on it. i have been told that means the frame was altered, or damaged. does anyone know where i can look up what these numbers mean? i still can't find any vin numbers on the frame.... im gettin deeper in the hole over here... thanks!

I had to read some of your posts to see what you were talking about,,, if it was given to you and you have no bill of sale it sounds like you need to talk to someone at your local DMV as to what you need to do to get the proper paper work to be able to legally sell it.

Blue tag- I'm assuming this is a bike with no papers to match a frame or engine stamp and is or was registered as a custom and not an HD.

It sounds like an VIN tag from DMV.The number should be traceable thru DMV.

Yes,it could be a recovered stolen bike.

I was not following your old posts.
Do you have cuurent registration?Do the numbers on the title match the tag on the bike?

Seems like the ID tag would have been placed on the bike after it was recovered.
