Harley being fast?
Falcon guy, I have read all of these post and will give you one thing, you have managed to maintain a certain amount of maturity throughout this posting, others have not. Anyhow I will say my piece and not look at this thread again. My friend has a VTX1800 and I have a Springer softail. Everyone in our friendship circle agrees hands down that the HD's craftmanship is leeps above that particular Honda model. The VTX looks like it was pressed out of a cookie mold. I have rode the VTX many a times and I cannot make it manuver like my Softail, its just not possilble due to the weight, front tire and balance, I almost drove it off a summit trying to duplicate the turning of my Softail. The power of the VTX is impressive and I will be the first to tell ya that, ITS FAST, but the giant radiator and bulky tank and frame kill me. The individual components of my HD means I can maintain it all the way down to the last bolt, im not sure where you would start on a VTX, not sure I would even bother. Just my 2 cents, there is a difference, and the Japs must see what I do, cuz they have spent 20 years trying to make a Harley, and they are getting closer, and the EPA is there best friend in catching up.

Although you all think Im fishing here, I am not. The administrator must be the same mentality as to ban me for asking real questions, that only one or two in here have the brains to answer decently.
I am trying to get honest opinions of different bikes, I am open minded to all bikes, most of you are not!!
Callin imports "rice burners" is about as childish as one can get.
Not looking at them as equals or even considering adding them to your collections is very strange to me.
I cannot understand the loyalty, its not even intelligent whatsoever.
I like certain manufactures as well, I don't tattoo them on my body, like some of you!
And to answer the Guy about the Hayabusa, well just so you know, its probably the easiest bike to ride of any I have owned. Its rock stable at any speed! Super fun to ride, you should really try one sometime!!
Don't be mad at me, open your minds people, its really stuffy in your heads!

Nah, he snuck one in.
In terms of cruiser, I want a sportlike ride and handling, along with more then "enough" power. I don't think I am satisfied with anything under 100 horse, simply for ease of riding. Less power makes for a pain to have to shift often.
I can come into town on my Busa in 6th and idle thru and not have to downshift.
I don't think I can find a cruiser with this much, but Im leaning on the 109 so far, Im not bullshitting anyone.
If you know of any model or transmission or gear changes I can do with a Harley please tell me.
