on Pikes Peak at 14,110 feet above sea level. I figured I better ride up there (since it's only 10 miles from the house) before I move to Kalifornia next week. The stuff I do just to get a pin or a patch. Damn fun ride though. Half of it was dirt road.
I rode the train up Pikes a few years back. There was a bunch of people getting dizzy and sick from the thin air. I didn't have a bike back then but I bet it nice riding through the Garden of the Gods.
Man, I used to love going to the Pike's Peak Hill Climb race. Do they still hold that? Nothing like sliding around on a dirt road with a sheer drop off to one side.
