You can count on the 6-speed in the baggers.

What about the rest of the Line..like the softail models?
daniel,

That might be one more year.

well...that makes sense.

HD always test its new technology in one line before spreading it to the others.

Just remember when EFI first popped on a HD...it was on the 1995 30Th Anniversary Electra Glide..then on the following year it was made an option to the rest of the touring line.

Solorider,

did you hear anything about the 200mm tire on other models like Fat Boy (like the current CVO model)?

I've heard something today that it's very hard to believe...

A friend (not working for MoCo but for a dealer) hinted that would be a Springer CVO.

Well, that's quite hard to believe..specially if the company intends to drop the springer from the regular line...maybe that CVO can be based on the Springer Classic.

Too funny!

Sorry I didn't see this sooner but I haven't had access to a computer.

Nothing major to report here, I just wanted to let daniel know what I had heard and thought it best to go PM'ing instead of boring the rest with the details. I do hear rumors almost weekly; some ridiculous, some very plausible. The one that seems the most consistent is that the '07 baggers will have the 6-speed transmission.

Other rumors...

CVO Road King
Touring V-Rod in '07 or '08.
Different two-tone color scheme for baggers.

Remember...these are just rumors.

I went for a ride with my dealer over the weekend , and was talking about getting a bagger, while not specific he did indicate it might be worth waiting for the 07's.

Different two-tone color scheme isn't exactly a rumor since the '07 color charts are out. Or are you referring to some possible custom colors?
