1. Can you be a little more specific on how to lubricate the cables?
2. Fogging oil in the carb and or cylinders? I would choke out the boat with it to get it into the engine, and change the plugs in the spring. Is it needed in a motorcycle?

Nope, good to go in the spring. Change it before storage to get the corrosive contaminants that build up in oil out of the engine.

Personally I would change it out to inexpensive 20/50 dino oil, run her till she is full operating temperature and then put her away, in the spring fire it up and run her till she is good at hot and change it again this time to full synthetic. It may be over kill but for the 12 bux a jug of oil costs I think its worth it. I have always done it this way for all my vehicles I put in storage.
