what if we plan on riding it through the winter? my garage is really a detached shed, it gets cold in there. is me riding it in the morning and starting it up regularly going to cause a problem?

as long as there's no snow i plan on riding my bike through the winter not laying it up.

thanks for this topic as i was wondering about winter riding or storing.

I've seen several pictures with the old time iron out *** deep in the snow and kept on truckin. These are modern high tech bikes compared to what they rode out to ice fish. What has changed for the worse the machine or the man?

I did hook up my tender for the first time today though.
Those are something everyone should have......unless you live where it's warm, or like charging batteries

Is it better to leave the fuel valve on or off? Or doesn't it matter if gas has stabilizer in it.

Good write-up Gump!!

Curly Bill; if you have a petcock, turn it off anytime that it is going to sit for an extended amount of time.
