Uh Oh. I'm a boneheaded poseur dork. Damnit and I've spent quite a bit of money on Harley tee shirts. Worst thing is though, I just gave my 3 year old great grandson what I thought was a pretty cool Harley winter coat and now I've turned him into a dork. Oh the shame of it all. Anybody got an extra bottle of sleeping pills I can use?

I'm not saying that you're a poser or a dork for wearing Harley shirts or gear. Im my opinion, a person who would want to wear an HD ring, is probably one of those guys that is dressed head to toe in HD **** and is wearing a HD do rag while driving around in is Harley Edition Ford F150.

I see those types all of the time and I think it looks rediculous. It makes me chuckle. It's like their whole identity is their motorcycle, pretty sad really.

I don't think I'm "cooler" than everyone, as someone stated, but I am entitled to my opinion.

It's like their whole identity is their motorcycle. Hmmm....sounds to me like the definition of a true biker.

I've been wearing motorcycle tee shirts of various makes for over 40 years now. If you're wearing any other brand on your tee shirt...nobody cares. Wear a Harley tee shirt and suddenly you're making a lifestyle statement that has to be approved by the fashion police. Gimme a freakin' break. If these people want to wear hats, rings, shirts or whatever...what's it to you? Why do you feel the need to judge them? Did it ever occur to you that some of those people that you look down your nose upon may have already put in 10 times the miles you'll ever put in? Judging people by their looks is a bad thing to do.

Wow. So even WANTING a ring puts someone in a pigeon hole? People can get busted for "intent to pose?" You guys are strict.

opinions are like ******** everyone has one. mother always taught me "if you have nothing nice to say dont say it at all."
if you dont like people that wear harley "stuff" why make a comment about it. keep your opinion to your self please. your only starting stuff that people have a passion for.
makes me wonder about some of you people. if you dont like something or a thread stay out please.
back to topic, yes i have a harley wedding ring. when i saw that i said i had to have it for my wedding band. it shows my love for my wife and my harley. i have sooo many people make comments about it on how cool it is.

This thread is for people who like to blow $900 on Harley jewelry.

If you want to do the "Harley t-shirt = poseur" thing, please start a new thread.

But if you want to call the ring bearers poseurs, do it here

Honestly, when I see someone like that, I think to myself "what a dork". Just my opinion, of course.
So U don't even own a T-shirt, sweater, coat, head wrap, hat, boots, belt, that says HD on it?
Cause it has to go on Ur body and U think its all stupid crap.
