It looks like a good project bike. If I were you I would be cautious of trusting the structural integrity of any of the metal that has been rusted and heated. I am mainly talking about the frame. That being said, it is a great base to build an incredible machine. Have fun with it.

In reply to the title and licensing. All I have to do here in Kansas, is keep all the reciepts for the parts that I buy, and then get a builders title. As long as I have proof that I bought all the parts to put it back together, that is all I need. Then Have a Highway Patrolman run the numbers...I know the numbers will come back good because it has been sitting for 20 years, and it will be a done deal.

What if it was stolen 20 years ago??? Just kidding. They purge the stolen vehicles after 5 years depending on the state.

If it could talk it would say, "I died in a fire."

Good luck with it. I am looking at a project bike to built up soon. I have done two sportbikes and am looking forward to an old school chopper type deal.
