Who uses one? I need one for inside storage and the occasional passing shower when the Night Train is parked outdoors. I may buy 2 if needed, I'd like a nice heavy one for indoors, and a completely waterproof one for outside? Or can I get one that does both? Thanks in advance.
I would get one of both. Inside I don't think you want waterproof. It will likely trap moisture, and cause rust and corrosion problems. Inside I would think that all you would want would be a light dust cover.
Bill is exactly right on the "completely" waterproof. You won't find one made for motorcycles that is completely waterproof. Check out a few of the after market sites, you can get what you want for about $100 or so, little more or a little less depending on what you do. If you get one specifically designed for motorcycles, you wont' have to worry about burning the cover on hot pipes either as they are heat resistant where they need to be.
I'll probably get a motorcycle specific one for outside weather and just use an old comforter for in the garage. I'm mainly concerned with the kids/wife/me going into the garage and knocking something over that falls against the tins. So no one uses an outdoor cover that they like? So one brand doesn't fit/work better than another? Thanks
Walmart 19.95. Perfect for indoor use. I wouldnt use it wouldside because they dont fit all that tight and with the wind and everything could blow off. Its heat resistant like many of the exspensive ones. I couldnt justify the 75-100 bucks for a hd model. Mine works great.

I have the Harley cover and used it once. It's a nice (read expencive) cover but IMO is too heavy to be used on any trips. I got an Exigent cover a few years ago at Daytona. Packs small and is as waterproof as anything I've seen. Exgent covers
