Default Torx Head bits

Recommend a good set of Torx head bits or drivers that contains the most commonly used sizes on a Softail.

Sears is a good place to start. I think the #27 does not come with most sets. You have to hunt for it and get it seperately. I have no idea why. HD also carries a driver which includes most bits you will need for your bike, including the #27. The cost was around $20. If I am wrong about the torx size, someone will know the correct #.

Sears or Auto Zone, just make sure you get a quality set. Cheap imports are the quickest way to strip out an otherwise good Torx.

just went to sears yesterday to pick some up and had a time finding a nice set running the gammut of sizes in the craftsman series. i found a set by Lisle that had sizes from T10-T60 for $24! comes in a nice vinyl case to boot. had a need for the larger T60 size for my forward controls that became loose. nice stuff too. good luck...
