Hmmm.....anyone know of any aftermarket conversions?
Better yet...has anyone done an aftermarket conversion on a 96" or more and can you actually kick this thing over with todays electronics?

Been a long time but to be honest, I don't miss it. I like push button start and EFI (no choke). When I first got fuel injection I was skeptical. Felt it just took more out of the motorcycle experience until I started the bike after it was storred over the winter and it started up immediately. Then I said good riddance to carburetors.

I never had one on an HD but banged my leg up plenty of times on my high compression dirt bikes. Don't miss the kick start at all.

I only got mine a couple years ago. It wasn't worth it in Montana to get one before that. But now the about half the state has coverage. Only the family and a few select friends have the number, tho.....

Yeah, electric start is the way to go. It's not like we're talking about little 250cc dirtbikes (and even those....not always very fun to kick!)
